Who trains you to graduate college and go on to lead a life? Not anyone I know. I still feel like I'm 10 and I'm just happy to not be confined to that room with desks and monotone instructors. In a way its like a prisoner who just got let out of jail and doesn't know how to function anymore; last time I knew freedom like this I was breast fed and speaking in a makeshift language that consisted of more slobbery vowels than anything. Now what? Lots of people ask me that and most of the time I do the *shrug* which means way to remind me.

WHAT I am realizing is that when you graduate/ed college your mistakes paved my way. My goal in life is to _________________ who knows fill in that blank. I want to make movies, I want to be happy, I want to be like Christ. Pick one of those. While we're at it no one trains you how to love properly either. I def. love myself a lot and when it comes to doing the God thing, selflessness is often hard to acquire, how does that work?

My mind is swimming with possibilities, the earthquake in Chile knocked the Earth of by 3 inches shortening the days (maybe that relates to the story in the bible when the sun never set; a giant earthquake in Thailand hit and the Israelites were oblivious.)

Another crazy epiphany, you don't know anything. I know just as much about why I'm here now as when I did at 3, maybe I knew more then and the more we search the less living we have to do, because reality is way too much to handle, thats why I'm sitting here blogging in front of my computer. Its way cooler online (The Matrix.)

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST (A LESSON IN EARNESTY)

THE DEFINITION OF EARNESTY!


We all know this as the title of the classic book by Oscar Wilde, but I haven't read it. It came to me while sitting here looking at that picture, just those words: the. importance. of. being. earnest. SO I looked up -- the definition of earnest, one of those words that we all know and probably use, but never stop to think about. (Earnest: 1 : a serious and intent mental state
2 : a considerable or impressive degree or amount .) So what is the importance of being earnest (or earnesty as I've just decided to call it?) why be serious and intent, why have a considerable or impressive degree or amount?
Earnesty is what dreams are made of, its what you have between the ages of 0 and children. It's what you loose because of money or responsibility, forcing you to forget to smile, or loose your goals in the shuffle. What is the importance of earnesty? It's setting your sights for whatever makes you happy and never loosing heart so that you don't have to say "I wish I had..." and you always smile back on "remember whens." It's living life to a considerable or impressive degree or amount so that you can be filled with sadness, joy, excitement, and fear. It's loosing count of the laugh lines and counting the crows feet as medals of honor.
The importance of earnesty is the meaning of life.

So I'm watching "Jon and Kate Plus 8" and I remember saying to my mom at Christmas "This guy doesn't deserve to be treated like that -- I would leave her if I was him." GUESS WHAT! Rumor is they aren't together anymore, maybe I'm late but good for you Jon, I would not put up with her for longer than 5 minutes you managed a few years and 8 children! I don't know but their relationship made me think twice about divorce, in this case I say GO FOR IT and ind someone who isn't abusive (verbally in this case.)

Perhaps you know of Drake, the hip-hop RnB sensation. His music is sweeping across the underground airwaves and teenage girls are already addicted to his sensual lyrics and heavy hitting beats. The thing is this guy is JIMMY the kid from Degrassi. I didn't know much about the show but I did some research tonight and just as I thought -- THE SHOW IS TERRIBLE. I don't know how I feel about this guy anymore going from being the innocent, disabled, white washed (yet stereotypical) black kid in Degrassi to the sexually fueled musical artist he is today seems like a poor foresight on the side of P.R. department.
